SDEA exists to share the Gospel and is home to a variety of events and ministry programs — Strength to Stand, UNITE, Safe at Home, & more.

Strength to Stand

Strength to Stand is a collection of student conferences, camps, tours, and more pioneered by Scott Dawson Evangelistic Association. Through 35 years of ministry STS has worked to provide the next generation of the local church an atmosphere where they can worship, grow deeper in their faith, and take the next step in their faith whether it be salvation or growing in sanctification. The primary audience served are ages 11-18 with hundreds of churches from across the southeast. The conferences are under the supervision of the Scott Dawson Evangelistic Association, Inc., which is recognized by the IRS as a nonprofit organization. Since 1987, this Association has been actively involved in conference ministries throughout the United States.

STS Institute

An innovative training program for student pastors, worship leaders, and production directors, the STS Institute launches in the fall of 2024. Our faculty of experienced pastors, worship leaders, and ministry experts will equip students with the fundamental classroom knowledge they need and the practical application of their education in a local church context — all in an expedited timeline.

UNITE

Our citywide evangelism crusades, UNITE has united local churches in Las Vegas, San Antonio, and Pensacola to bring the Gospel of Jesus to cities. We partner with friends of the ministry to host a two-night event featuring an inspiring message of hope from Scott Dawson, worship from STS Worship, and a concert. In 2024, UNITE is heading to Knoxville, Tennessee!

Safe at Home

Through Safe at Home, SDEA partners with sports organizations across the country to produce Faith & Family Night events at ballgames. SDEA has a wealth of experience with teams such as the Chicago Cubs, New York Mets, Kansas City Royals, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Oklahoma City Dodgers, Omaha StormChasers, and more.

Men’s Conferences

Our Men of … Conferences link SDEA up with local churches around the southern United States to host men’s gatherings featuring popular speakers equipped to encourage gentlemen in their roles as husbands, fathers, and spiritual leaders in their families and communities.
